Night of the Proms in 2011


2011 is a turning point for Night of the Proms.

As expected, there won’t be any show in Charleroi. The French part of Belgium (as France) did not seem too eager for the concept, only for the individual artists; due to this there was not enough reason to organize other shows.

On the 2nd of April 2011, there was a show in Frederikshavn (Denmark). This were our previews for the show, and we also interviewed the enthusiastic organizer Niels Estrup. Here you can read our review of the successful show.
	On the 9th of April 2011 a new boat of AIDA, the sponsor for the German NOTP Tour, was baptized with a festive show on the shore of Kiel (Germany). More info can be found with our German colleague.

The 17th of September 2011 would be the date for a enormous show around the new soccer stadium in Warsaw (Poland). We were thrilled for it and interviewed the Polish organizer, Kris Verbruggen, but the show was cancelled since the stadium was not finished.

From the spring shows, we remembered that Charleroi seized to exist but the foundations were there for a new spring tour in 2012 in Northern and Eastern Europe.

And then the fall shows. It took a long time before we got the names for all artists. Here you can read our preview of the shows in Antwerp, Rotterdam and Germany.
